SVMC Holiday Hours

SVMC will be closed for the following upcoming Holidays. Visit our Emergency Resources page if your pet needs immediate medical care while we are closed.

Scheduling Changes

SVMC will be short one doctor for the next month due to personal reasons.
We ask for your patience and understanding as we work hard to continue to take excellent care of our patients. If you need upcoming wellness visits, please try to schedule for January if possible.  If you have vaccines or heartworm tests due in December or have boarding/grooming requirments, we will do our best to get you in. This will allow us to have appointments open to see sick pets. During this period, Saturdays will likely have longer wait times as we may only have one doctor available. If possible, try to schedule an appointment during the week to avoid long waits or any inconvenience.  We thank you for your patience during this time and are so grateful for the loyalty and support we continue to receive.

Photos with The Grinch

Join us for our annual tradition of Photos with The Grinch hosted by our friends at Village Dog Resource!
Capture lasting Holiday memories with your furry friends and support a local rescue.

Pets, Kids, Adults are all welcome to come take a unique and fun Holiday Photo with the Grinch.

Sunday, December 14th
from 1 - 6 pm
at Seaford Veterinary Medical Center in Yorktown
6627 George Washington Memorial Hwy
Yorktown, VA 23692

The event is pay by donation so everyone can participate, we know times are tough!

VDR will provide the scene and the Grinch, pet parents will take the photos on a personal device/camera.
(We will have helpers to take photos for you so everyone can be in the photo)
Our Grinch is playful, fun and hilarious!
He will be sure to make some unique and amazing photos for your entire family!

We will also have:

A Silent Auction with tons of cool items up for grabs, a Bake Sale with all the yummy treats, Personalized Ornament Sales, and maybe more!

**Please only bring pets that are properly vaccinated and friendly around people as there will hopefully be a large number of people coming out to the event. We want all people and pets to remain safe. Thank You!**

**If your pet is not good with other dogs please leave your pet in your vehicle and notify our volunteers.
We will do our best to accommodate safely getting your pet to and from the photo taking area.**
